What is covered by the Vero Diamonds lifetime warranty?
Manufacturer’s Defects.
Manufacturer's defects pertain to flaws or imperfections present in rings that are a result of errors or deficiencies during the manufacturing process. These defects are not caused by normal wear and tear or user negligence, but are inherent to the ring's construction or materials. Common examples of manufacturer's defects in rings include uneven gemstone settings, loose prongs, improper sizing, structural weaknesses, or faulty clasps. Such defects may compromise the ring's functionality, durability, and/or aesthetic appeal. All of our rings are appraised and inspected before pick-up to ensure they are free from manufacturer’s defects and to certify that all diamonds are authentic and up to standard. We guarantee quality work. However, if at any time your ring does not satisfactorily meet our standards for quality, we will fix it for you. Simply book an appointment or send your ring to be evaluated, after which it will be repaired in our local workshop.
Everyday Wear and Tear.
Wear and tear refers to the gradual damage or deterioration that occurs on rings over time due to regular use and exposure to various factors. Through daily activities, rings are subjected to pressure, friction, moisture, contact with surfaces, and even contact with chemicals. All of these factors can lead to scratches, loss of material, and overall changes in a ring's appearance, affecting its structural integrity and potentially altering its shine or finish. As part of the Vero Diamonds lifetime warranty, we will clean and polish your ring to make it shine like new. In addition, we will repair any damages sustained as a result of daily activities.
Does the lifetime warranty actually last a lifetime?
It does! Our lifetime warranty is a guarantee that we will cover your ring for its entire lifespan, providing cleanings and repairs to keep it as beautiful as the day you bought it. At Vero Diamonds, we understand that an engagement ring is a significant purchase. We want to give you peace of mind that we are committed to maintaining our product.
Does the lifetime warranty cost extra?
Our lifetime warranty comes with your purchase of your custom engagement ring. There are no extra costs.
What is not covered by the lifetime warranty?
It is important to note that our warranty does not cover certain circumstances. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for the loss or theft of your ring, as it is the client’s responsibility to ensure the security and safekeeping of the ring. In addition, our lifetime warranty does not extend to any damage caused by accidents, misuse, or intentional acts beyond our control. However, we are always willing to examine your ring and discuss next steps for repairs and/or replacements. We also offer an insurance appraisal. This is a document we give you with your ring, written by a GIA graduate gemologist, which can be used to insure your ring.
