Not all oval cut lab grown diamonds are created equal. Some oval cut diamonds are chunky, others elongated—and the difference matters, especially for how a diamond looks on your hand.
With our expertise of curating gems and creating custom engagement rings for clients, we quickly identified why mainstream oval cut diamonds felt wrong on Sarah’s hand: the proportions didn’t compliment her slender fingers. We offered an alternative that met both her expectations of getting an oval cut, and highlighting the unique characteristics of her hand.
“I immediately suggested an elongated oval cut. It’s rare, but it complements long fingers beautifully since it fills more space on the hand,” explains Ali El Arbid, Founder & Gemologist at Vero Diamonds.
