The build.
The tulip basket is the answer. Six claws rise around the oval like petals, holding a stone with real presence in a frame that stays light and organic. The 1.4 ratio was deliberate — enough body to absorb the warmth of the 18K yellow without stretching thin. And underneath, a detail most people never think about: the split shank ends in a squared euro shank base. With 3.5 carats up top, a round band would spin. The flat bottom keeps the ring sitting up, stone facing forward, no fidgeting.

And there's a part the photos don't show: a hidden diamond beneath the basket, and two birthstones tucked where only she knows they are.
