The brief.
The emerald cut was the starting point. What we focused on was the body of the stone the staircase facets that make this shape what it is. Get those wrong and an emerald cut goes flat. Get them right and the stone reads clean and deep, all the way through.
The build.
The half bezel wasn't the original plan. We landed on it through the work wrapping the head and the foot, leaving the long sides exposed. Set in platinum for permanence. The band is a 2mm half round with a slightly flat inner edge, so most wedding bands will sit comfortably against it down the road.
The result.
Modern but classic. A 2.5ct emerald cut sitting low on the finger, with room for any band that comes next.
