Questions
Why only 18K gold?
14K is cheaper and harder. 18K holds its colour, is better to work and to size, and wears closer to what a ring should look like after twenty years. We alloy it ourselves in the workshop, which is why we can hold one standard.
Why VVS2 minimum?
There is no visible difference between VVS2 and something lower to the naked eye — which is exactly why the industry uses clarity as a place to cut cost quietly. We set one standard and price from there, so there is no conversation about what you are giving up.
What does “made in-house” actually mean?
We alloy the gold, 3D print the model, cast, set the stones, and finish the ring in our Ottawa workshop. Not assembled here. Made here.
Lab-grown or natural?
Both. The same standards apply either way. Lab-grown is what most of our clients choose and it is where the value is. We will show you the difference in price and let you decide.
Can I change this design?
Yes. The model is the structure — the shank and the setting type. The stone, metal, proportions and finish are yours. Use the field on this page or book a consultation. Anything beyond the options shown is priced individually.
Is the price shown the final price?
For the ring exactly as configured, yes. Add HST. Changes outside the options above are quoted before we begin.
What happens after I order?
We source your stone, send CAD renders, and give you a 3D-printed model to hold and try on before any gold is cast. Nothing is made until you approve it.
